Volunteers Work Together to Help Mother in Need

Romans 12:4-5 says, "Just as our body has many parts and each part has a special function, so it is with Christ's body."

Salty Family Services is blessed to live out this scripture. Every week, we serve our community through the partnerships that we have with other local churches. We truly believe that the Body of Christ is better when we work together.

This mom reached out to us for help, shortly after moving into a new home. She has three children and was faced with a number of challenges trying to provide for their family. As we began working with her, our mentor identified the need for some furniture. Because of the generosity of many people, we were able to provide a queen and twin bed to the family.

Then, our "Call Me When" volunteers, one from Salty Church and the other from GraceLife Church, worked together to load, transport, and deliver the beds. This mom was able to witness love in action from our local Body of Christ!
