Healing for a Child & Hope for a Mother

It’s never easy for a parent to hear that their toddler has a health condition that needs constant medical observation.

Months after the diagnosis, this mom learned that her son's condition had grown into a potential cancerous tumor and that the surgery to remove it presented extreme risks.

This sweet mom's goals came to a standstill upon hearing this unfortunate news. Not knowing exactly how to handle all of the emotion and chaos, this mother turned to God and held onto hope.

A few days before the scheduled surgery, the doctors decided to do another biopsy to determine further if the tumor was benign or malignant.

One of our mentors and two volunteers visited the mother’s home specifically to pray for this mom and her toddler and encourage her throughout the waiting period.

The results came a week later…

NO SURGERY!

The toddler is in great health and is not affected by the tumor at all!

We are so honored to have been allowed to be a part of this process. We thank all the intercessors who prayed for this family weekly and the volunteers who were willing to help! Praise God for His mercy and faithfulness!
